Alameda Council of the Navy League

The Alameda Council of the Navy League is based in Alameda, California and supports members of the sea services.  Our "adopted units" include local Coast Guard, Navy, and Marine Corps commands.  We also sponsor U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corp & Navy League Cadet Corp units and are proud partners with the Alameda Naval Air Museum & East Bay Coast Guard Spouses Club.  Details can be found in our tri-fold by clicking here.

Membership is open to anyone interested in making a difference - join now.

Our History

The Navy League of the United States was founded in 1902 with the encouragement of President Theodore Roosevelt. The Navy League is unique among military-oriented associations in that it is a civilian organization dedicated to the education of our citizens (including our elected officials) and the support of the men and women of the sea services and their families. Prior military service is not required for membership in the Navy League.
